Job Description – Operations & Facilities Administrator

The Ricoh Sports Centre, the home of Fraser Park Sportsville, is situated in the heart of the Hutt Valley on Fraser Park and is the largest sporting ground in the Greater Wellington Region. Sitting on 27 hectares of lush land lies a multi-use facility which caters for the sporting, corporate and community domains.  The Centre and all its facilities are open to the public, clubs, corporates and the community. 

 

As Operations & Facilities Administrator you will work in partnership with the Manager to operate the day to day running of the facility.    

 

 

Responsibilities

Office & Facility Management  

  • Oversee compliance of operations, contracts and renewals

  • Implementation of facility related policies and procedures.

  • Procurement of products, services and contractors required for facility operations.

  • Management of contractors, facility maintenance and cleaning contractors

  • Management of cleaning and office stock ordering and subcontractors.

  • Management of lighting controls and business management systems

  • Management of AV and assisting hirers with set up

  • Management of security access cards system

  • Fire and Emergency Evacuation Management

  • Management of Health and Safety Protocols, training schedules etc

  • Liaison with Hutt City Council Facilities Team

  • Funding - Management of charitable trusts funding schedule and submitting funding applications

  • Participate as a constructive member of the facilities team to best engage with current and potential users to best maximise facility utilisation

  • Responsible for updating website, facebook and social media

  • Cover at Reception as and when required

  • Assisting with Room set ups for bookings, tournaments etc. 

  • Any other ‘facility operations’ tasks delegated from the Manager.

 

We are a small team and you will need to have a “can do” attitude, great sense of humour and deliver excellent customer service to our clubs, members, tenants, hirers and the public in general.  We have created a great working environment where no two days are the same.
